South Central FS

Do you know any seniors that would be interested in their community college or vocational education being paid for and have a job secured, all before they graduate high school? South Central FS has a tremendous opportunity for your senior students they will not want to miss! In addition to this email, you will receive a packet soon with this information and with a brochure on the scholarship, our company, and copies of the application materials. If your school district has an agriculture program, the ag teacher will also be receiving this information. South Central FS is a patron-owned agricultural cooperative serving Central Illinois farmers, commercial businesses, and residential customers in Coles, Cumberland, Clay, Bond, Effingham, Fayette, Shelby, Marion, and Moultrie Counties. Students that apply for and receive our scholarship will have their community college, or equivalent vocational program, tuition, fees, and books paid for by South Central FS and have guaranteed employment when they finish their degree or program.

Equity
Equity's Agronomy Department is excited to announce that the Earn + Learn with The Equity Agronomy Scholarship is once again open for applications! In an effort to drive career interest from soon to be college age students, The Equity’s Agronomy Department is implementing the Earn + Learn Scholarship Program. This Fall High School Seniors and College Students can apply by November 30, 2023. Selected students can receive up to $14,000 towards their education. In return, The Equity Agronomy Department will require the signing of a two year work agreement which will begin upon the completion of their degree (either 2 or 4 year). We hope that the Earn + Learn Scholarship will keep us competitive in the job market, bring in a stream of young, excited employees, as well as help those students who may need a financial push to acquire their degree.

Golden Apple Scholars

The Golden Apple Scholars Program in Illinois is a teacher preparation and tuition assistance program for high school seniors and freshman and sophomore Illinois college students who have the determination and drive to be highly effective teachers in Illinois schools-of-need. We prepare aspiring teachers for immediate and lasting success in the most challenging teaching environments.

Scholars Receive:

Up to $23,000 in total financial assistance for college, inclusive of paid Scholar Institutes
Extensive classroom teaching experience
Academic and social-emotional support
Job placement assistance
Mentoring from our award-winning teaching faculty
