May 3 Baccalaureate at Pentecostal Church (2pm)
May 8 Seniors last day if they are exempt from finals
May 11 & 12 Senior Exams
May 13 Junior final exam at OKAW
May 17 Graduation
May 18 Junior last day at OKAW
May 19 End of 4th Quarter
May 18 & 19 9th-11th grade finals + 2:05pm dismissal
May 19 8th Grade Promotion at 7:00pm
Standarized Testing
I want to thank everyone for a successful Illinois Assessment of Readiness, Illinois Science Assessment, Dynamic Learning Map Alternate Assessment, Pre-ACT, and ACT season. I appreciate people avoiding making doctor and dentist appointments as well as the students working hard to prove what they have learned this year.
Last Senior Notice
Seniors, the time has come for you to walk across the stage! I will be holding a meeting for all Seniors during lunch on May 5th to go over important information you need to know before graduating.
As we head into summer, I encourage you to maintain routines that support your well‑being, stay connected with supportive adults, and continue exploring your strengths and goals. I look forward to seeing you all again next year to support your academic success, emotional wellness, and college and career readiness.
Finally, I want to take a moment to thank both students and staff for welcoming me into your community this semester. Starting in the middle of the year can be challenging, but you all have showne me patience, kindness, and openness which made the transition easier. I cannot wait to see everyone next year!
